Cedar Creek Ball Field has been recently renovated in 2015, thank you to local volunteers and Keep Cass County Beautiful / Lowes Grant funding. Twenty-four tons of Diamond Pro, an infield clay and shale soil conditioner, have been added to the field along with grading and leveling to improve field drainage. Concrete pads have been installed under the bleacher areas and in the dugouts. New chain link fencing now encloses the field along with new poles and netting added to the batting cages. Fresh brick and mound clay have improved the pitcher’s mound and home plate. While the Lowe’s Grant portion of the project has been completed, the village board added new benches and roofs to complete the dugouts.

Thank you to all volunteers including the Cedar Creek Board Chairman, Steve Sharp, and board members: John Mohler, Monte McAllister, Randy Moses and Mitch Pearrow. The men helping with the concrete were also all volunteers except for the truck driver guiding the chute.
